If you have ever tuned into the History Channel in the last 3-4 years, you will have definitely seen the show “American Pickers” which is one of their highest viewed shows. It is focused on two guys, the famous Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, who travel around the United States looking for people who have a build up of antiques and collectibles lying around their homes, properties, and garages. They hunt for rare items with hopes of reselling or repairing them on their own.

Now, the show is making it’s way to Northwest Indiana according NWI Times recent article. This could be a great opportunity for you to share your own collection, a family, or even a friends collection. Mike and Frank have shown a huge passion and knowledge of old collectibles and will definitely be on the look out for the true collectors.

“American Pickers is looking for leads and would love to explore what you may have,” according to a news release. “They are on the hunt for interesting characters with interesting and unique items. Some of what they look for: vintage bicycles, toys, unusual radios, movie memorabilia, advertising, military items, folk art, vintage musical equipment, vintage automotive items, early firefighting equipment, vintage clothing, pre-50s western gear.” – NWI Times
