The Lake Country Fair has been happening in Crown Point, IN since 1852 and every year has become one of the most anticipated events for many of the regions residents. One thing we always ask is “When is the Lake County Fair” this year. Just a heads up for that question, the 2015 Lake County Fair is scheduled to go on from August 7th to August 16th. There will be Horse Shows, grandstand excitement, tons of exhibits for every interest, carnival rides and activities, food vendors, and much more!

2015 Lake County Fair – Crown Point, IN

This years theme is “argiculture”. This years fair is looking to be one of the largest yet with the Midway Carnival bringing in over 30 rides which will be more than active. Also, there will be tons of different kinds of entertainment going on. Grandstand shows will be happening everyday which include Mud Drags, tractor and truck pulls, TWO days of monster trucking, motor cross is back again, and even demolition derby. You can also stop by and view some of the beautiful Horse Shows going on. Bring your friends, family, and people of all ages. There will be a free firework show on tuesday night, free petting zoo, and a wide variety of contests going on for both kids and adults to partake in.

Going to the Lake Country Fair is all about being with family and friends and enjoying your visit. Wear some comfortable shoes because you will not want to stop walking once you see how much is available to view. If you do end up walking all over and get tired out, have no fear, there are a wide variety of food vendors ready to get you energized and back into the fair. Don’t forget a camera, you’ll want to take as many pictures as possible to save the memories

Lake County Fair Pricing

General admission gates are open from 9am until 9pm and the cost is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for Children ages 9-12. Children under 8 are free. Parking is only $5.00. If you come during Monday through Thursday before 3pm, parking and admission are free of charge. If parking gets filled, there will be free parking and shuttle bus service from Crown Point High School starting at Noon each day. The shuttle is free for everyone to make use of.
