Do you like corn? Do you like relaxing on Friday nights with family and friends? Then you will definitely like coming out to the 51st annual Schererville Corn Roast put on by the Schererville Chamber of Commerce this Friday, July 31st from 4pm-8pm. The yearly event has shown to be a great draw for the community and has been something people look forward to every year. Always bringing in a great crowd, you can expect to have a great time. Bring the family and enjoy the night!
From 4pm-8pm the event will be at Redar Park. Corn is all you can eat for only $4. For the 2015 Schererville Corn Roast, changes have been made to the menu. There will be food vendors added on to the usual craft/info people.
If you like music, Pandora Rocks will be playing from 4pm-8pm. Get ready to hear some great jams. After 8, make plans to visit the Schererville American Legion where festivities will continue and drinks will be served until 10:30.
Family is the focus. There will be games, contests, and many activities set aside for families to enjoy. This is a great place to hang out with everyone and make some memories. Plus, attending the event is free which means you can save money and have a good time, or spend only $4 and eat corn until you can’t anymore.
