If you were near a window or walking around outside after the short storm on Wednesday night, you definitely had your eyes on the sky looking at the absolutely crazy and unique cloud formations going on! Those were actually a rare cloud formation called “Mammatus Clouds”. They appear as smooth lumpy lobes across skys after heavy storms. Take a look at some photos below.
